There’s something in that elegant, modest, gentle and even conservative somewhat that just feels much more respectful.
It is not surprising then that the Chinese really appreciate both men and women who come up well dressed for the meetings with them.
For them, if you respect yourself it is the same as respecting those in front of you.
So remember- whether a man or a woman, nice and elegant suit, solid quiet colors, no jeans, no (exaggerated) high heels, and if you wear any jewelry on you, have it with a good taste, elegant and delicate rather than too big, too shiny and so on…you know what they say- "less is more".
